Elden Ring Shadow of The Erdtree: price and contents of DLC editions
Yesterday From Software released the trailer for Shadow of The Erdtree, the DLC of Elden Ring, complete with an expected release date of June 21, 2024: an expansion that promises to be literally mammoth in terms of game areas and boss fights, so much so that From Software has decided to offer it to the public with a different price depending on which edition – Standard Edition, Premium Bundle and Collector ‘s Edition – they choose to purchase.
In addition, those who have not yet played Game of The Year 2022 will be able to buy the“Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree Edition ” Edition, which includes the original game-both physical and digital-and the digital-only expansion (no physical formats are provided) at a cost of $79.99.
Below are the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion prices and contents for each individual edition:
- Standard Edition: download code for Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree ($39.99)
- Premium Bundle: download code for Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree, Soundtrack and Artbook, both digital ($49.99)
- Collector’s Edition (no base game included): Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree download code, 46cm figurine of Messmer the Impaler, Artbook with Hard Cover and Digital Soundtrack ($249.99)

In short, there is no shortage of offerings although it is worth noting one thing: the most expensive edition of Shadow of The Erdtree, the Collector’s Edition containing the collectible statue of Messmer (don’t miss our in-depth look at who Messmer the Impaler might be), will not also include the base game. Therefore, you will still have to purchase Elden Ring separately (in addition to the fact that you will need to kill Mohg, the Blood Lord, to gain access to the expansion).
