Gran Turismo The Movie: trailer and official release date
May starts with a bang! In fact, Sony has released the first trailer for the movieinspired by the quintessential Playstation-exclusive racing video game, Gran Turismo, along with an official release date scheduled for September 20th of Septmeber. In short, it is time to warm up the engines. Also starring in this adaptation – which among other things is based on a true story – are Orlando Bloom and David Harbour. After the great success of The Last Of Us TV show (here is our review of The Last Of Us), we are really curious to see if Sony, Eagle Pictures and Neill Blomkamp, the one who will direct the feature film, will still succeed.
If you want to know more about the plot, you should know that the film will tell the story of the fulfillment of the dream of Jann Mardenborough, a fan of Gran Turismo video game who, thanks to to his skills as a video gamer, will win a series of competitions put on by Nissan that will enable him to become a full-fledged professional driver.
