Nba Playoffs, scores and recaps of the night’s games Ep. 5

Nuggets @ Suns and Celtics @ 76ers: the scores and crazy recaps of Game 4 of the Nba Playoff semifinals played tonight.

Scores and recaps of Game 4 of the Nba Playoff conference semifinals played tonight: Boston Celtics @ Philadelphia 76ers and Denver Nuggets @ Phoenix Suns. The Phoenix Suns and the Philadelphia 76ers, find themselves in a very similar situation: both teams are down 2 to 1 and, as they say across the pond, win or go home in Game 4 to keep their Conference Finals hopes alive. If you missed episode 4, you can catch up with it here.

Game 4: Celtics @ 76ers 115 – 116 Final/OT

Doc Rivers’ team, up even sixteen points and in total control of the game for three quarters, tried hard to lose it. In the last quarter Philadelphia suddenly stops playing, unable to create anything beyond pick n’roll Harden – Embiid or isolation for its two stars (Rivers do something for god’s sake) and so Boston, led by Tatum author of a great second half, nibbles away at points and reopens a Game 4 that seemed already closed.

The hero of the night was an immense James Harden who closed his game with 42 points, 6 – 9 from three-point range, 8 rebounds, 9 assists and the victory three point shoot from the corner on Embiid’s assist. The new MVP adds 34 points and 13 rebounds to the cause but struggles to find the basket in the final 5 minutes of regulation. Fortunately, however, the Beard does not leave his team alone, and with an uncommon calmness and control of the pace he practically single-handedly wins an inside-out challenge for Philadelphia. Back to Boston!

Game 4: Nuggets @ Suns 114 – 121

What a game, what a series this one between the Nuggets and Suns. Offenses win over defenses that are currently unable to contain their respective superstars. In Colorado it was Denver party, in Arizona the situation is exactly the opposite with Coach Malone’s boys not finding an antidote for Booker and Durant, both once again authors of a sumptuous test: 36 points apiece in addition to 18 assists and 17 rebounds combined. For Phoenix finally also some contribution from the bench with the relevant performance by Shamet who put up 19 points and a very important 5 of 8 from three-point range.

For the Nuggets were not enough the best game ever in the playoffs for Nicola Jokic, 53 points and 11 assists and usual Jamal Murray’s 28 points in 42 minutes of usage. Series tied again with the Suns that, even without CP3, continue to survive thanks to the basketball dominance of their superstars. Now it will be bedlam in Denver with Game 5 marking the first turning point in this Western Conference semifinal.
