Rebel Moon: first official images of Zack Snyder’s Netflix film

It was among the most anticipated films of 2023 by the Freaking News editorial staff (full list here). At last, the first official images of Rebel Moon, Zack Snyder’s new Netflix film starring Sofia Boutella, Charlie Hunnam and Anthony Hopkins, have been shown.

Rebel Moon is inspired by the cinema of Akira Kurosawa and tells the story of a warrior woman who is sent by her tribe around the known galaxy to recruit, as in the The seven samurai, a group of valiant warriors to fight alongside him and thus put an end to the evil plans of a ruthless leader of a cruel galactic empire.

In addition to Charlie Hunnam, Sofia Boutella and Anthony Hopkins,the cast of Rebel Moon will feature: Ray Fisher, Djimon Hounsou, Jena Malon, Corey Stoll, Ed Skrein, Cleopatra Coleman, Fra Fee, and Cary Elwes. Instead, the release is scheduled for Christmas, December 22, 2023.
